What we do

We offer classes for the Iowa, Minnesota and Arizona permit to carry. All lecture courses will be held in my home office or I can come to you if you have a group of friends/family members. However, all shooting courses will be held at the Olofson Shooting Range & Training Facility in Polk City. This is the ideal way to become comfortable and competent with a firearm.

Don't have a gun? No problem! I have a plethora of firearms to try out before you buy them.

Due to nationwide ammunition shortages costs have gone up tremendously. You are welcome to bring ammunition or pay an additional $10 fee. Also, if you bring your own firearm to class, you will need to bring ammunition for it as well.

Hands on - Pistol

Do you prefer a more direct approach to learning? This course is tailored to people who want to learn to defend themselves properly with a firearm. This course will qualify you for the Iowa, Minnesota and Arizona permit to carry.

Classroom Lecture

This course is a lecture on state and federal law and will qualify you for your Iowa and Arizona permit to carry. We no longer teach the Utah class due to the associated cost to my students and the lack of permit to carry coverage you will get from obtaining it.
